Moses basket revamp

My daughter is having a baby next month so I’ve been working on revamping this Moses basket. It’s hard to tell from the photos but before it had some tired old gingham fabric covering it. I bought some lovely waffle cotton and replaced the whole cover, including using lace ribbon as the ties which was left over from her wedding. Such a lovely project to work on.

I love breathing life into old things, there’s no need to buy new sometimes.

Nappy Cakes – a great baby shower gift

It’s been a busy week so far as I’ve been turning up and taking in bridesmaids dresses and prom dresses! It’s that time of year I suppose. As well as that I’ve been making this three tier nappy cake.

3 tier nappy cake

Each nappy cake is different as they’re made to order depending on what you’re looking for.

Mums to be seem to love them because they’re not only pretty, they’re very useful once the baby arrives. This one contains loads of lovely things, including a soft baby hairbrush, baby nail scissors and an array of items I’ve made myself- from booties to bibs!

I love making these and hearing about how useful they’ve been. Get in touch if you’d like any further information, I’ll be happy to help,
